Dianthus Carthusianorum

£3.50 incl tax

Named after the Carthusian order of monks from Grand Chartreuse near Grenoble at the foot of the French Alps, this plant naturally occurs on dry limestine hillside in southern, central & western Europe. Small, slender leaved mounds with classic, small, dark but bright pink flowers on wiry 2 feet stems from June through to October. Obviously requiring a dry, open sunny position.

Kew - "grown by those who appreciate their understated elegance."
