'False Hemp'

A large (one of the largest) herbaceous perennial reaching up to 8 feet in a season, grown for it's architectural foliage and arching stems topped with pendulous strings of small yellow/green flowers.

Interestingly. the sexes are separate (dioecious) so the male and female plants vary. It hails from Crete, Turkey & Pakistan but is fully hardy in the UK and requires a sunny position/slight shade in normal garden conditions.

Stunning & little known.
