Solanum Pyracanthum

£10.00 incl tax

Porcupine Tomato

Same family as the tomato and potato & hailing from Madagascar.

This will need a little warmth to get it through the winter so keep in a pot & move indoors as the frosts arrive. Wanting full sun it will produce typical purple solanum flowers in summer and small fruit that should not be eaten (nighshade is also part of the same family). Strong orange thorns from furry leaves and stems make this a 'stunner'.

Height varies & depends on conditions.
