Salvia Uliginosa

£5.00 incl tax

For me, this is the best of the hardy salvias reaching up to six/seven feet tall but usually lower as it arches with the weight of it's sky blue blooms.

It needs space and will die out if crowded because, being a late bloomer (August until the end of the year or when cold cuts it back), it is slow to show.

It will self seed if you are lucky but gentry travels underground to form a good clump. These can be divided but it is best from cuttings which are reliably easy.

Don't be fooled by it's common name 'bog sage' - it tolerates and thrives in dry conditions when established.

Sorry. Currently sold out.
