Aster Macrophyllus Twilight

£4.00 incl tax

Retaining it's seeds heads all winter which are self supporting about 4 feet high. Quite extraordinary 'flower power' and is (along with the common Hawthorn) the most attractive plant to seemingly all types of bees. It is therefore an outstanding source of late nectar and pollen.

Ability to creep at quite a pace (thrived in the wet summer of 2012) and spread appears indefinite. Is good in dry shade too.

Hundreds of the palest purple single stars.
