Phalaris Arundinacea var. picta 'Feesey'

£3.00 incl tax

Gardener's garters or Striped ribbon grass. Not a self seeder but included here because it's a vigorous large carpeter.

Known to many but there are actually a few different varieties with subtle differences in foliage and more noticable differences in habit. Some are less vigorous (invasive) than others and vary in height from between 2 and 5 feet (in flower).

Can tolerate both dry and permanently damp conditions and is winter dormant. Cut dry grass to ground in Winter or Spring where new pink flushed growth will appear. Will completely fill the plot allocated so watch where you place it.

The cleanest white vertical variegation makes this a beautiful classic which should not be overlooked.
